Rottweilers Online Forum Rules

These rules were put into place in order to maintain a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, where we can all learn and share. They are basic rules of etiquette that will keep our site friendly and posts organized. Violation of the rules will result in a warning by a site administrator. Three warnings will result in a temporary suspension of your membership. After a short period of time, typically three days, you will be invited back to the forum. From that point on, any further violation of the site rules and you will be banned permanently from the site without warning.

If you have questions or comments regarding the site rules, regarding a warning you received, or to report a violation made by another member please contact a site administrator privately. Do not post complaints in the public forum or chat box. Our administrators and moderators work hard to keep our site friendly and clean, they deserve your utmost respect.

General Rules:

• Each member is allowed only one login account: Registering multiple accounts, sharing your password with others, or logging in under someone else's account is not allowed. All members and accounts involved in the such will be banned from the site without notice.
• Post content: Posts should be clearly understood and readible. Any post that our staff cannot easily read do to language or errors will be deleted with or without notice. All posts should be written in proper English only.
• Post in the right forum: All posts must be posted under their appropriate topic. Forum Administrators and Moderators may move posts that belong under another topic.
• Use descriptive Subjects: This will keep the forums organized, so others can easily find what they are looking for. Forum Administrators and Moderators may change the Subject Title of your posts. 
• Stay on Topic: Please keep replies related to the subject of the original post. This will help others find what they want to read. Posts not related to the original subject of a thread will be deleted, with or without warning.
• Respect the privacy of others: Do not post other's email addresses, phone numbers, names, home addresses, pictures, personal thoughts, etc., without their permission.
• NO Personal Attacks: Criticize ideas, not people. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
• NO Trolling: Don't post just to annoy people, or to start arguments.
• NO Advertising: This forum is not free advertising space. We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to members that advertise or solicit any products or services. Explicit advertising in signatures is prohibited. Links to other rottweiler forums are prohibited.
• NO Spamming: No commercial posts or flooding the forum with useless content. This includes using the forum email, Private Message system, and chat to spam other members.
• DO NOT disrespect the site, its administrators, or its moderators by posting complaints about the site, its staff, the way the site ran, or regarding a warning you or another member may or may not have received. If you have a problem, please contact an Administrator privately.
• DO NOT create posts that are sexual in nature or that violate our community standards. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments. Administrators shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
• DO NOT create meaningless posts or threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is also not allowed.
• NO Cap Locks: Please do not post messages with the subject or post all in capital letters, or your message will be deleted. Words all in capitals are not only annoying, but are read 50% slower than normal writing. Also, oversized font sizes and messages all in bold are not allowed. Fonts in posts should be easy to read and tasteful.
• Debates and discussions are fine and healthy, but we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts, chat, or private messages. 
• Discussion of illegal activities, such as software and music piracy, and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Post responsibility: You remain solely responsible for the content of your posts, private messages, and chat.
• Administrators reserve the right to remove any posts without notice.
• We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
• While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

Forum Signatures:

• Advertising in forum signatures is not allowed.
• Links to personal websites or personal blogs, that are not commercial and do not contain product(s) and/or service(s) are allowed, provided the site does not violate our community standards.
• Images in signatures are not allowed.
• Oversized font sizes and/or more than four lines in signatures are not allowed.

Posting Pictures:

• All pictures should be posted under the topics "Pictures of Your Rottweilers" or “Pictures of Anything” or "Photograhy 101". Pictures posted elsewhere may be moved.
• Pictures must be tasteful is size and content. Please don't post oversized pictures.

Avatars:

• Avatars must not exceed 64x64 pixels.
• Ads or animated avatars are not allowed.

What you agreed to when registering:

When you registered you were asked to accept the above rules and the following policies. Completion of registration confirms that you have agreed to these rules and policies.

You agree not to use this forum to post any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws. You also agree that you will not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by yourself or the owners of these forums, without permission and/or citing the source.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum and their agents with respect to any claim based upon any post you may make. We also reserve the right to reveal whatever information we know about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by yourself.

Although messages posted are not the responsibility of this forum and we are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. If you do find any posts are objectionable then please contact a forum administrator.
